I created the cover illustration and feature artwork for a British graphic design magazine.The theme, “Art directors are strange fish…”, comes from a special feature written by Dylan Jones, former editor-in-chief of British GQ. Filled with affection, humour and deep respect, the article reflects on Dylan’s own experiences with art directors, portraying their distinctive personalities and quirks, including figures such as Terry Jones, co-founder of the iconic British street-style magazine i-D.For the magazine, I depicted these free-spirited and passionate directors as anthropomorphic fish, translating their individuality and creative energy into playful visual form.
