“Charming,” a baked confection from Kurumiya, a long-established patisserie founded in 1957 in Akashi, Hyogo, has been beloved by the local community since the shop’s early days.Although the product was once discontinued, it has now been revived as a contemporary version of “Charming.” To carry its long history into the present with a fresh spirit, the package design was completely renewed.The concept for the new design is “a simple, graceful, and charming woman.”I illustrated a figure whose pared-down form conveys both warmth and elegance, aiming for a timeless beauty that endures across generations.This marks the beginning of a new chapter that carries the pride and story behind “Charming” into the future.
