To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the limited-edition cookie tin from ELBERUN, a long-established confectionery in Shukugawa, Hyogo, I created the design for a special commemorative edition.The project was a triple collaboration between Elberan, the fashion brand MUVEIL, and myself, working closely with MUVEIL’s designer, Michiko Nakayama. To express MUVEIL’s signature sense of playful elegance, we explored motifs together and refined the girl’s expression, clothing details, and color palette, ultimately crafting a design that balances charm with a touch of mature humor. Our aim was to create something that brings delight from the very moment it is picked up—not just a container for sweets, but an object that remains as a keepsake long after the cookies are gone.Blending the heritage of a beloved confectionery, the sensibility of a fashion brand, and the expressive power of illustration, the result is a fitting artwork to commemorate the tin’s 10th anniversary.
