For the renewal opening of the New Balance Harajuku store and the launch of new color variations for the popular 574 model, I created a live painting as part of the celebration event.Using a large shoebox as a canvas, I illustrated a vibrant world where colorful 574s appear to burst forward, layering this imagery with early-summer plants pushing up with fresh energy. By echoing the brand’s spirited character and its drive for continual evolution with the vitality of nature, the artwork became a dynamic part of the space, allowing visitors to experience the creation process in real time.The live painting helped to enliven the moment and celebrate New Balance’s new beginning together with the audience.
