plant“er” project

Design , Artwork

The plant“er” project is an initiative launched as part of the JFR Group’s “Vision for 2030” program, led by Daimaru, Matsuzakaya, and PARCO. Artists selected from eight stores across Japan were invited to design original planters that reflect their unique artistic styles. The completed planters were distributed to employees as a way to encourage connection with nature and plants. For my contribution, I adapted elements from my wall artwork “in bloom,” created for the “rest gallery” at Daimaru Kobe. The planter design expresses themes of vitality, flourishing blossoms, and the harmony between nature and people, offering a way to experience a sense of balance between art and the natural world in everyday life.
