I created an illustration for a limited-edition project by the Mitsukoshi Isetan department stores, which was applied to a handkerchief, socks and a folding umbrella.The theme was “love and gratitude”. Timed for the spring season and the beginning of new chapters, the design expresses feelings of affection for loved ones and appreciation for the warmth we receive from others. These sentiments are conveyed through flowers associated with love and gratitude, arranged so that a subtle heart shape emerges within the composition. The illustration was released in three colour variations. Although the same artwork is used across all items, each product presents its own character through its colour palette and format. By combining the symbolic meaning of the flowers with the refined atmosphere of Mitsukoshi Isetan, I aimed to create a design that brings a sense of warmth and beauty to everyday life.
