mio.matsumoto

Illustrator / Designer

Graduated from Royal collage of Arts and Kingston University in Britain.

Based in London, she is active working in magazines, books, advertisements, fashion, in many fields. Since 2006, she has moved to Japan and is engaged in a lot of client works both in Japan and overseas.

 

Selected representative works and clients:

Created artwork for Marc by Marc Jacobs' 2006FW New York Collection, one of them was shown on the runway of the collection.

Created artwork for Starbucks Coffee Ginza EXITMELSA store.

Original product development in collaboration with a Japanese interior shop Francfranc. Collaborated with beauty and cosmetic brands such as LUNASOL, Miller Harris, and YAMAN.  

Book cover Illustration for British version of Junichiro Tanizaki's "Key”, Machi Tawara's "Salad Anniversary”, and etc.  

 

Published own book “My Diary” from a British Publisher Jonathan Cape / Random House.
